Dear Esteemed Members,
It is with great pleasure and a profound sense of responsibility that I assume the role of Chairperson of Akola WICASA (Western India Chartered Accountants Student Association). I am deeply honored to serve as WICASA Chairman and look forward to working alongside each of you in our shared journey of growth and excellence.

It is with great humility and honour that I assume the role as Chairperson of Akola Branch of our esteemed Institute, with a vision to serve our profession for the overall growth of the members and students.

I am fortunate to have an incredible team by my side who are committed to continuous efforts for overall growth.

I am sure that you all have heard of the Dalai Lama, right? Well, today wehave a quote from him. This quote wants to explain to us that no matter how small it is, having a positive thought or two about your day will help make it even better. Yes Think a positive thought, Repeat the affirmation: “I am always Positive!”

I am honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Akola Branch of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is my pleasure to welcome you all to our esteemed branch.

His Holiness Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj of BAPS Swaminarayan Sampradai has the motto which says ..” In the Joy of others lies our own”…

With utmost pride and honour I pen down this message as the Secretary of Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI. I am honoured to serve the ICAI and Akola Branch in various capacities since 2016 , more particularly in the capacity of Secretary in the year 2018 – 19, Chairman of Akola Branch for the year 2022 – 23 and now again as the Secretary for the year 2024 – 25. It is my duty to serve our Alma mater in whatever capacity for the betterment of our fraternity and members and students at large.

Respected Members

March is a month marked by excitement and anxiety. This month signals the end of a (financial) year and start of new beginnings. However due to precautionary measures against COVID-19 and as per advisory received from ICAI HO all seminars/programs at branch are postponed till 15/4/2020. All students activities such as ITT/GMCS and other classes are also stopped as precautionary measure till 15/4/2020. Reading room facility is also closed at branch till 15/3/2020. Due to all these measures we are unable to keep any seminars/programs which we have announced earlier. Prevention is better than cure ,so all members should take utmost precaution and care from this deadly corona virus.

First and foremost, I would like to thank The Almighty for his divine blessings. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading the Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI. The support and efforts of every member and student of the Akola Branch has given this branch a place of recognition in ICAI.

This year Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI has won the awards for the Second Best Branch (members) in the Mini category and the Highly Commendable Branch (students’ association) in the small category at the WIRC level. It is the dedicated teamwork and coordination of the management committee, the guidance of the past chairmans, the support of every member, the determined efforts of every student and the hard work of the support staff of the branch which has given us these accords for excellence.
