Chairperson’s Message 2023

Dear Members,

I am sure that you all have heard of the Dalai Lama, right? Well, today wehave a quote from him. This quote wants to explain to us that no matter how small it is, having a positive thought or two about your day will help make it even better. Yes Think a positive thought, Repeat the affirmation: “I am always Positive!”

I am honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Akola Branch of the Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is my pleasure to welcome you all to our esteemed branch.

Chairman’s Message 2020

Respected Members

March is a month marked by excitement and anxiety. This month signals the end of a (financial) year and start of new beginnings. However due to precautionary measures against COVID-19 and as per advisory received from ICAI HO all seminars/programs at branch are postponed till 15/4/2020. All students activities such as ITT/GMCS and other classes are also stopped as precautionary measure till 15/4/2020. Reading room facility is also closed at branch till 15/3/2020. Due to all these measures we are unable to keep any seminars/programs which we have announced earlier. Prevention is better than cure ,so all members should take utmost precaution and care from this deadly corona virus.

First and foremost, I would like to thank The Almighty for his divine blessings. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for entrusting me with the responsibility of leading the Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI. The support and efforts of every member and student of the Akola Branch has given this branch a place of recognition in ICAI.

This year Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI has won the awards for the Second Best Branch (members) in the Mini category and the Highly Commendable Branch (students’ association) in the small category at the WIRC level. It is the dedicated teamwork and coordination of the management committee, the guidance of the past chairmans, the support of every member, the determined efforts of every student and the hard work of the support staff of the branch which has given us these accords for excellence.
