March is a month marked by excitement and anxiety. This month signals the end of a (financial) year and start of new beginnings. However due to precautionary measures against COVID-19 and as per advisory received from ICAI HO all seminars/programs at branch are postponed till 15/4/2020. All students activities such as ITT/GMCS and other classes are also stopped as precautionary measure till 15/4/2020. Reading room facility is also closed at branch till 15/3/2020. Due to all these measures we are unable to keep any seminars/programs which we have announced earlier. Prevention is better than cure ,so all members should take utmost precaution and care from this deadly corona virus.
For the first time International Women’s day was celebrated at Branch for 2 days ie on 7th and 8th of March. On 7th March a full day seminar was kept where all speakers and management was done by our esteemed women Chartered Accountants. Kshitij Foundation President Snehal Kadam madam was chief guest and CA Drusti Desai, RCM was Guest of Honour for the event. Pretty Parik ,Adiba Chinthanwala along CA Drusti Desai madam were speakers of the event.On 8th March a cultural evening for spouse of male members and women Chartered Accountant was there at Jain Lawns. A motivational talk by Mr Manish Sethi and Cultural event by Radio Orange RJ Shri was organized for benefit of all participants. Felicitation of few women’s member was also done by women empowerment committee.
Bank audit are about to start in few days and focus should be on NPA & Asset Erosions. We as a statutory auditor of Bank have to be very careful and diligent while conducting audit . Happy and Careful Auditing!!

Let me end my communique as a chairman by quoting : Success doesn’t lie in ‘Results’ but in ‘Efforts’ Being the best is not important but ‘Doing’ the best all that matters I intend to do my best!!
