His Holiness Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj of BAPS Swaminarayan Sampradai has the motto which says ..” In the Joy of others lies our own”…
With utmost pride and honour I pen down this message as the Secretary of Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI. I am honoured to serve the ICAI and Akola Branch in various capacities since 2016 , more particularly in the capacity of Secretary in the year 2018 – 19, Chairman of Akola Branch for the year 2022 – 23 and now again as the Secretary for the year 2024 – 25. It is my duty to serve our Alma mater in whatever capacity for the betterment of our fraternity and members and students at large.
First of all I would like to Congratulate CA Seema Baheti (the outgoing Chairperson 2023 – 24) for taking branch to new heights from where I had handed over the charge to her on 28th February 2023. Now the reins of the branch are in the hands of young and dynamic CA Sumit Alimchandani (Chairman for the year 2024 – 25). CA Sumit Alimchandani has worked hand in hand with me during my tenure as Chairman of the Branch and I am well versed with his capabilities and his sense of responsibility as the Leader of the Team.
The leadership at Central Level at ICAI Head Quarters are doing various initiative for the Members and Students at large. In their endeavors, the branch acts as the medium for connecting the Central Leadership and the members at the local level. The Regional Council Members also support the branch for implementation and execution of the policies designed for Members and the Students.
We, the members of the executive committee of Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI are fortunate enough to have got this wonderful opportunity to serve.
Thank you once again for reposing the faith in me and giving me one more opportunity to be in the core team for the service of the Branch.
