About The Branch

     At a Glance
One of the most upcoming vibrant branches of ICAI with the theme “3D – Dream, Decide Deliver”.
Started from Akola CAs’ Association in 1996 with around 20 members.

Gets the status of Akola CA Study Circle in 1997-98 which had existed for around 6 years.

Converted into Akola CPE Chapter on 23/07/2003 and finally Akola Branch in October 2003.

The Akola Branch of WIRC of ICAI has been inaugurated on 24/12/2003.

The then members have worked hard to run the branch from their respective offices and in the year 2005 has shifted to rented premises and now with the utmost and dedicated efforts of all past chairman of Akola Branch and senior members, we have our own premises of 10000 sq ft in the heart of the city since 2013.

Has grown into a Family with about 300 plus members and 2000 students at Akola.
     The proud achievements are
Awarded 5 Times – All India Best CPE Study Circle Award of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India either individually or jointly in the tenure of 6 years of Study Circle.
Awarded Certificate of Appreciation by WIRC in 2014-15 & 2015-16.
Awarded Certificate of Appreciation by WIRC for Akola WICASA in 2015-16.
All these accolades are the results of cohesive approach and team work with human touch.
      The regular activities are
Lecture meets & group discussions
Conference and seminars of professional interest of its own, as well as in association with other professional bodies.
Successfully hosted several All India Conference & Regional Seminars on varied topics.
Consistently conduction study circles on current topics, Fellowship meets for members like Holi Milan, Diwali Milan, Indoor & Outdoor Sports Festival for Members and also with various departments.
Sports, Youth Festival, Industrial Visits, Revisionary Classes, Academic Seminars by WICASA, the students body.
     Other Facilities…
Fully furnished Auditorium with seating capacity of over 148 persons.
I.T.T Lab for Training 48 students at a time in Information Technology.
In house Library equipped with large number of books on Professional & Other Subjects of National & International titles.
Other infrastructure facilities like 2 Class Rooms, Managing Committee Room, Administrative Office, Chairman’s Cabin, etc.
Decentralized Officer for Members & Students.
